Teaching

His teaching process begins with identifying what will be the “hook” that excites the student, and will keep him/her motivated to put in the necessary work to maximize the rewards music can give. If the student is always working on something they find fun, it is much easier to teach the underlying nuts and bolts of music necessary for being a “complete” player.

By maintaining a flexible approach to styles, techniques, and methods, he aims to avoid the student “burning out”, and keeping a positive relationship with his/her instrument.

Chris offers lessons in piano, organ, guitar, bass, and voice.
